Naked Palette

Finally I got my hands on the Naked palette by Urban Decay, it is just as good as everyone was saying, I am new to buying make-up that isn't drugstore products; before I would just buy the first thing I saw that was the cheapest; which was silly of me of course. Therefore I saved up a bit of money and bought this as my go-to palette for everyday! It's great to have such a variety of neutral colours to do a day look or even a night look.

I am very pleased with this product and have to say that it is a must have for all of you that like neutral eye shadow colours and that don't want to go mad buying each colour individually until you have enough to create a look with.

This is the look of the palette which has it's ups and downs. I would say a good thing is that is look stylish, simple and compact therefore it would be great to travel with and easy to take with you on the go. The bad thing is that the material on the top will get very dirty especially when you are working with powder eye shadows and make up brushes. The Naked palette 2 has a better packaging as this one has a surface which is easier to clean. However that being said I still think the look of the palette is great.
Here is a free little gift that comes with this palette, as you know this is one of the best sellers of Urban Decay's line which is the 'Eyeshadow Primer Potion' this is a very popular product and works great. It helps to make your eye shadow last longer on the eyes and to also stop it from splitting which I think it is great for. I notice that my eyeshadow stays on a whole lot longer if I use this and does not crease, I can say that I love this product very much.

Blush N' Brush

Today I have two blushers and a brush to show you! The blusher brush that I have been using lately is the Real Techniques one, which is great and super soft. The blusher's that I have at Mac's 'Supernova' and No7's '22 Candy Pink' these colours are very different, as you can tell one of them if cheaper than the other, and this shows in the product.

Mac Supernova - This is a mineralized blush and is also a frost, it's a deep pink with a golden brown mixed in, it also has a shimmer. Remember to only dab the blusher brush into this blusher softly as this colour when applied on the cheeks becomes brighter after its applied and it very pigmented.

No7 22 Candy Pink - This is a plain and simple baby pink, it is matte and is a great colour for an everyday nude look. A lot of this product will need to be applied to the blush to show up on the cheeks.

To me I think the packaging of the Mac blush is great, simple and stylish and also the blusher looks very nice and presentable. I am very happy that I bought this blush as it's great, it's limited edition so get your hands on it whilst you can!

This blush is from the permanent line so, be sure to pick one of these up when you have a £5 off voucher as they end up being a lot cheaper this way. They have many colours so if pink is not your shade go for a darker colour.

And last, here are the colours swatched on my fingers, let me know what you think! Thank you for reading I should post again within the next two days, I really want to try and start to post more, so have a good night everyone!!

Benefit Lipsticks

As you know I am a huge fan of lipsticks and I have been buying a lot of them recently. To start off, I wanted to show you the Benefit lipsticks that I have. I only have three so it's nothing special and all of them are quite different which is pleasing to know.

So I have 'Mod Squad' which is a pale pink with a hint of shimmer, 'Pinking Of You' which is a deep pink with shimmer and then last but not least 'Saucy' which is a deep orange/coral colour with shimmer. I have found that a lot of benefit lipsticks normally have shimmer/glitter in them which can actually be slightly annoying once applied to the lips.

Here are the three swatched (Saucy, Mod Squad and Pinking Of You) as you can see the formula is not matte at all and is almost glossy, I find that you don't need to even apply a gloss with these lipsticks and that they are not very long lasting and so will need to be touched up often through-out the day.

And that's all, I took the a picture of the swatches in light inside as well as outside just to give you a feel for the colour and you can see them better. I hope you enjoyed this post, do you have any benefit lipsticks, what are you thoughts on them? I tried to take pictures of them on my lips but the quality was not good and you couldn't see the colour very well. I haven't figured out how to take the picture but one day in the future I will have them posted. Have a great week everyone!
