something extraordinary + update

dress - missguided, shoes - office, sunglasses - asos

I am loving Neon right now and this dress just shows that, I love the neckline of this dress as well. The good thing about neon in the summer is that is can make you look more tanned. What do you think of the dress?

Okay so I thought I would do a little bit of a life update to were I am at at the moment, things I am enjoying and just what is going on really.

So my first year at university is now over, I finished my portfolio and I handed it in today, it feels great to be finished and I am ready to start my second year in September, we have been told a brief overview of what is to come next year and it all seems very exciting, including a trip to London and Berlin Fashion week. I am also hoping that next year I will be able to work backstage at London Fashion Week, I will have to look into making that possible as it would be a dream.

Next, I wanted to mention some things I have been loving recently I have started doing the 30 day shred as well as the 30 day yoga challenge. I am so happy that I have given Yoga a chance, it is very peaceful and lovely, you really should give it a try. It has helped my stress levels and my happiness levels severely, I cannot believe how much an impact it has had already after only done it for a few days but really after I have completed it I feel so calm and happy. I normally do the day I am on, on the challenge and then I put meditation music on a meditate for a while which is beautiful. As for the 30 day shred that is great, I am only on day three, but I already see a difference in my endurance of being able to complete level 1, I will give you an update when I am further along if you would like to hear that.

I move out of my University halls on Sunday, it feels so strange that I will never be living here again, it was a journey and a different experience to be living in a room the size of a cupboard and sharing a bathroom and a kitchen with everyone. It has it's good sides and it's bad sides. I'd say the good is the social side and the bad is having lots and lots of pots and pans piling up and the whole kitchen becoming a big mess, as well as all of your stuff getting used and damaged. Although, it has been a great experience and I suggest that everyone needs to live in halls and make sure that you do not buy anything that is expensive for in the kitchen, you will be left with none of it anyway. (more about this and University coming soon in a post)

I had my Asthma doctors appointment today, I will not get my results back until a month from now, but I have been given a steroid inhaler to see if that improves my breathing. The appointment lasted for about two hours and there were so many tests, the worst was the blood test as I got really faint and dizzy, this doesn't normally happen to me, I think it's because they took a large amount, a lot more than they normally have in the past.

Another thing that I have been getting into recently is fake tanning, I never thought that it would look good on my skin and that when you think of fake tanning you think of really fake people who are orange. But if you do it correctly it looks very nice and boosts your confidence and it makes you look thinner and feel better in yourself, so I will defiantly be keeping that up (thanks to my friend Hannah).

My friend Hannah came up to Nottingham to see me the other day and it was lovely, we did face masks and had a girly night and then went along to Forum and had a good night out too, which ended with some well deserved Chunky Chicken. Then we went for breakfast at Weatherspoons and had a walk round the city, then I waved her off home excited to be back in Sheffield to see her again.

Overall I have been having a really good time, and I am trying everything to stay positive and happy and I really hope that everyone else is as well. I understand how horrible it is to be down and lonely but I want everyone to smile because good things are coming your way, believe it and let it happen, strive towards goals and work hard, because we all have it in us. Hope you are having a wonderful week, it is my last day of term tomorrow and I will be going to 'Trentival' which is the last event at my Students Union, at this event is free candy floss, live DJs, face painting, karaoke, Caribbean food, surf simulator, fairground stalls and then a beach party in the evening, confetti cannons and photo booths! Woo!! Speak soon, Sarah,x
